Evidence

By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.  Hebrews 11:3

The Work of Creation

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  | Colossians 1:16-18

Glorious Facts

Our imagination is often sparked by observing God’s creation, then fashioned by our creative gifts and talents.

Creation's Bullseye

The first sentence in a recent evolutionary news story set the stage for the rest of the article: “Flowers like hibiscus use an invisible blueprint established very early in petal formation that dictates the size of their bullseyes—a crucial pre-pattern that can significantly impact their ability to attract pollinating bees [emphasis added].”1 Such a statement could easily have come from a creation science publication. After all, blueprints come from the minds of architects or engineers and are not cobbled together by mindless processes. Most of us read or were taught in school about flower nectar guides (“invisible blueprint”). These can only be seen under ultraviolet light, which bees just happen to have the incredible ability to see.~ |SOURCE: Institute For Creation Research

Longevity in Pre-Flood Mammals

Genesis claims that people in the pre-Flood world routinely attained 900-year lifespans. The best-known example is Methuselah, who had the longest recorded lifespan of 969 years (Genesis 5:27). Skeptics dismiss these great ages as fanciful legends, but recent fossil data are providing unexpected, albeit indirect, corroboration of the Bible’s testimony. Science Advances reports that growth patterns in fossil teeth show that seven small shrew- and mouse-like Jurassic mammals all had very long lifespans compared to living mammals of comparable size. A previous Creation Science Update article described how scientists had already found evidence for “surprisingly long” lifespans in the fossil teeth of the three Jurassic mammal genera Krusatodon, Morganucodon, and Kuehneotherium... ~ |SOURCE: Institute For Creation Research -BY Jake Hebert, PH.D.

Lunar Volcanism?

Tiny volcanic glass beads suggest “surprisingly recent” lava flows on the moon that are “difficult to reconcile with the accepted history of lunar volcanism.”1,2 These tiny glass beads were retrieved by the Chinese Chang’e 5 spacecraft... The spacecraft returned to Earth in 2020. Subsequent chemical analysis of the beads suggested they were volcanic in origin, and radiometric dating yielded ages of about 120 million years. Creation scientists, of course, don’t accept these uniformitarian age assignments, which are greatly inflated. God created all the heavenly bodies, including the moon, just a few thousand years ago on Day 4 of creation week. And there is abundant evidence that radiometric dating techniques are flawed.~ |SOURCE: Institute For Creation Research -BY Jake Hebert, PH.D.
