Larry served in the Army in Vietnam, where he was awarded two Purple Hearts and two Bronze Stars. His spiritual life blossomed when God brought his wife Carol into his life. They fell in love with God, Jesus, His word and His people when they started attending Woodland Park Bible Church. He and Carol have been married 43 years and have one son. Their son David and his wife Kari have 4 children. Larry has served as a deacon and now as an elder. He has led small groups and helps with the adult Sunday school class. He has been on missions trips, sharing Christ with Muslims and other non-believers. He also oversees the maintenance of the church buildings and grounds.
