When we have faith in Jesus, His righteousness (His life without sin) is transferred to our account. God gives us a full pardon for our sin and declares us not guilty. Steve began to serve in various campus college ministries in addition to becoming part of the college leadership at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California.
After graduating from UCLA in 1975, he earned his MDiv at Talbot Theological Seminary in 1978. That same year, he was ordained by Grace Community Church and began to pursue a pastorate. In the interim, Steve served as an assistant chaplain at the USC Medical Center, Union Rescue Mission, and as an Assistant Director of Christian Released Time Education.
In 1982, Steve was called to pastor a church plant of Grace Community Church in Inglewood, CA. and in 2004, to pastor The Master’s Bible Church in Prescott, AZ. He completed his ThM in 2005 from The Master’s Seminary. In 2007, he was called to pastor Woodland Park Bible Church in San Marcos, CA.
